Meet Summer Baby Bud 'Nilah'

Welcome our newest babybud Nilah. She is almost as sweet as the little girl she was designed for. My great niece Nilah, who is 2 1/2 years old. I designed this little sweetie pie with swimming, warm weather, sandy beaches and the cottage all rolled up into precious memories of the past. She is "Summer", one from the set of Seasons I am doing for BabyBudDesigns.

I used prisma pencils and gamsol, cut her out with the oval set of nestabilities, then the scalloped oval to accent the image. I used the swiss dot embossing folder for the background and then mounted the whole image on a pink dot background. I added an organza ribbon and bow for extra detail.

The Pink Elephant Challenge!!!

Today I'm joining in on the fun at The Pink Elephant!

I'm so thrilled to be a guest designer for this week and want to thank Lori for having me!

Here's the challenge:

Red, Scallops & a Bow!!!

Here's the card I made for this week's challenge. I used one of my BabyBudDesigns called 'LadyBabyBug'.

I used my prismacolor pencils and gamsol to color the image. In each of the 4 corners of the white scalloped border I added my own little lady bugs using some red 'glitter' brads and drew on little antannae's.

I'm also lucky enough to be a guest designer for another great challenge at The Pink Elephant AGAIN next week, so check back 'cause the BabyBuds will be the sponsor!

Welcome Spring!

Just a quick post today! This card I made for a friend. She wanted a 'welcome spring' card to give away. I used one of my latest designs 'Snow Drop' Garden bud.

She was coloured using prisma color pencils and lots of glitter was added! The paper is Stampin up and the DP is by K&Company. Used lots of circle and scalloped nesties to frame her in!

This is just perfect for the challenge over at The Pink Elephant - Spring!!!

A new lil' garden bud to show you...

Meet Violet Bud! All pretty in purple! One of the latest creations from BabyBudDesigns! She was coloured using prisma color pencils. This card is being entered into the challenge over at The Pink Elephant, and also works for Cute Card Thursday - (use green in your card). Also, for Crafty Calendar Challenge - Flowers!
